Microblading also known as “Eyebrow Embroidery” is a popular new trends in eyebrow enhancement. During this process semi-permanent pigment is deposited on to the skin by using a uniquely designed and very tiny blade that leaves natural looking hair strokes. The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them. This process is different from tattooing because it gives the brows a more natural look and it also adds fullness and definition to your brows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present.
Microblading can typically last anywhere from 1-2 years, but will vary from client to client. The Microblading application process takes approximately 1-2 hours. This time includes preparation and application. Once the process has been completed, you will be given STRICT after-care instructions. It will take the brows about 7-10 days to heal. During that time you will need to keep the brows clean and dry. Initially, the brows will appear really dark, but will fade significantly over the next 4-6 weeks. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done at that point, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment. Yearly touch ups are recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.
